I must transport a sculpture in bronze to Moscow, what is the procedure?

First of all, it is necessary to get the age of the sculpture: is it a contemporary one or a cultural work and to know if the consignee is a gallery, a museum or a private.
Then, it is important that the sculpture is properly packed for export, in wooden case,
Finally, we must know precisely the place of delivery in Moscow (street / floor / access /…)
When we get all the information, ES.I. choose the appropriate mean of transportation (road or air) and after customs agreement, can ship the good to Russia.

During transportation to Russia, cargo is travelling with a TIR CARNET; it is a customs document stamped by customs authorities at each border from European border up to final Russian customs office.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SELL TO RUSSIA IN DDP TERM?

Any DDP shipment to Russia must be study case by case from the following documents:

Sales contract with Russian customer
Detailed packing list
Nature of the goods and customs codes

First of all, you have to communicate to ESI the exact packing details of your machine: dimensions – weight – scheme – in order to carry out feasibility study: indeed, each crossed country must give its authorization for exceptional convoy and itinerary to be respected. Getting transport authorizations must take 3 to 5 weeks, so, it is important to take this into account when preparing delivery schedule.

You must take contact with ESI at least 2 months before the opening of the exhibition: this will allow you to choose mean of transportation – by sea for example if the volume is big enough – Once transportation mean is defined, just let you guide by our expert: depending on your products and kind of exportation (temporary or definitive), we will advise you what shipping documents you must provide and delivery schedule you must follow.
